Alvechurch Picnic in the Park announces a new date for 2020 – Saturday 5th September!
We are delighted to be able to announce a new date for the 2020 Alvechurch Picnic in the Park – Saturday 5th September. Obviously this will be subject to Government restrictions around COVID-19 but we really hope outside events will be allowed by this point in the year. With that in mind we are starting to plan for this date – please do put in your diary – we will need all the support you can offer. And it is great to have something to look forward to as well!
Stay at Home Street Party and Best Dressed House – Friday 8th May
In the meantime we are running a Best Dressed House Competition to coincide with the Stay at Home Street Party on Friday 8th May to commemorate the 75th anniversary weekend of VE Day. We are offering £100 in prizes to the 3 best dressed houses (judging by photo and probably on Thursday 7th May). We promise to issue more details soon but in the meantime think how you can have your house dressed in red white and blue!
