The dog show

The Alvechurch Dog Show is for fun and takes place on the same day as the Picnic in the Park. Kicking off at 10:30am there are normally 7 or 8 classes before the main Picnic opens at 12:00. The Dog Show is very kindly sponsored by local dog trainer and behaviourist The CanoCoach.

There are treats for every dog on the day (whilst stocks last), rosettes to fourth place, plus a medal and rosette for the overall winner – The Dog the Judge would most like to take Home.

Classes will be confirmed nearer the day but normally include: Prettiest Bitch, Handsomest Dog, Best Trick, Waggiest Tail, Cutest Puppy and Ravishing Rescue.  Entries are taken on the day but close at 10:30am.  We ask just £1.00 per dog per class with all proceeds going to local charity Cramar Cat Sanctuary.
