Record number of entries for the 2019 Logo Competition

The 2019 Picnic in the Park logo competition drew a record number of submissions.  All the Judges were blown away by the talent in the village and were wowed with every entry. It was really really hard for them to pick just one winner – but needs must and after two nights of deliberation, and calling for a second opinion – we have our winner!

And the winner is…

Congratulations to Winnie Padmore (aged 10) who delighted the Judges with her 2D wording, along with her drawing of the dog having fun as well.

Our judges were also delighted by Freddie Poynton’s (aged 7) colourful rainbow entry which was awarded second place; closely followed by Joseph Watt’s (aged 8) wonderful depiction of the Picnic taking place in The Meadows.

Highly commended entries were submitted by Reuben Watt (aged just 5) and William Farmer (aged 12).

A MASSIVE thank you to all those that entered – they will all be on display at the Alvechurch Picnic in the Park 2019 to be held on Sunday 26th May in The Meadows, Alvechurch.
