Picnic Organisers needed!

The Picnic simply cannot operate without lovely people like you to help out with new ideas, organisations, publicity, and general organisation.  Could you help to keep this wonderful annual event going?  We meet just once a month in the run up to the event – and it’s always at a pub 🙂  Specific roles we are recruiting for (but we would welcome any help):

Go Karting Challenge  – 2019 will be our 3rd year but we need someone to help organise, generate interest and entries and organise on the day.  It’s an established format, unless you want to change, so we can help out but would be great to get a community individual to drum up interest in this fun challenge.

Information Point Management – tasks ranges from answering all manner of enquiries, selling raffling tickets, handing out child wristbands and bin bags, general supervision and shaking collection buckets. We are well versed in this facet of the show but we would dearly love a Information Point Manager throughout the Picnic.

Stall Holder Liaison – Louise manages this aspect of our Picnic very successfully but as we grow year on year we could do with some help on this front. Duties include communication ahead of the event, stall holder recruitment, liaison on the day and general helping out.

Steward Management – it would be great to have some help on managing and supporting our wonderful stewards on the day.

Our kick off meeting is on Wednesday 21st November – if you are at all interested in finding out more, helping out, want to meet the small working group then please come along – 7.30pm at the Red Lion. We would LOVE to have you onboard, in whatever capacity you want to offer.
