As we hurtle towards the 27th of May it is hard to believe the annual Alvechurch Picnic in the Park is just days away! We have had MASSIVE interest in this year’s event and it seems to go from strength to strength. We kick the day’s proceedings off with the annual fun Dog Show at 11.00am, judged this year by TV Vet Alice Rhodes. Just 50p a class and enter on the day. Find out more here.
Alice then goes onto open the event at 12 noon alongside this year’s Logo Competition winner Kyla. This kicks of a field FULL of stalls, activities, cakes, food, entertainment, fun, frolics and challenges. Some of the attractions include:
- Fun Dog Show
- Pony rides
- Dudley Zoo animals
- Birds of Prey
- Go Kart Challenge
- Entertainment from 12 til 5
- Bouncy Castle
- Pig Roast and other food stalls
- Bake off
- Over 40 stalls
We then head over to the Cricket Club at 5pm for an evening of more live music, karaoke, real ale and fun.

The event will prevail unless weather conditions are deemed unsafe, ie a hurricane or volcano.
