We are ridiculously excited to announce that local man Professor Sir Keith Porter will be opening this year’s Picnic in the Park. Professor Porter is the UK’s only Professor of Clinical Traumatology. He was deservedly knighted in the 2010 New Year’s Honours List for services to the Armed Forces.
We will also be welcoming once more Mercia Accident Rescue Service who will be providing first aid cover for the afternoon. And if that wasn’t enough we will have demonstrations of how to administer CPR and basic first aid.
So make sure all your budding doctors and nurses come and join us for an action packed day at The Meadows on the 26th May.
