The official opening of Alvechurch’s Picnic in the Park at 12 noon will involve a local veteran along – with our young logo designer Dottie George, aged just 9.  Her drawing captured the intent of the organisers to commemorate 80 years since VE Day.

This year’s competition had a record number of entries, and it was incredibly hard for the organisers just to pick one winner! Thank you and well done to all our fabulous local artists.

We hope to display all the logos in the Information Marquee on the day including the well deserved runners up!
