The Picnic is held at Wiggins Memorial Playing Field (known to locals simply as The Meadows). Located at the end of Meadow Lane, Alvechurch B48, the road is shut for safety reasons from 10.00am on the day of the event. Nearby parking can be found at Tanyard Road Car Park (back of the Red Lion), at the Social Club (please note their rules), in the Square and in surrounding roads. Please park responsibly and don’t block residents houses or drives.
THERE IS NO PARKING IN MEADOW LANE OR AT THE MEADOWS UNLESS BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT.
Disabled parking can be booked prior to the event by email – these spaces are very limited though.
